Art in the Park

Things have been busy these days. Busy in a good way. I've been in meetings for the past 3 days for Bible training. I taught a session called the Art of Preaching, which was really fun. BUT before that my two of my roomies, Crystal and Munirah, and I went to the fabulous Austin Art Festival over the weekend and I just had to share...

We saw some AMAZING art work, most of which I was not allowed to take pictures of. I was tempted, seriously tempted, but being a rule follower the fact that many of the booths had large signs that said, "No Photography" and had the artist standing right there caused me to be obedient. However, it didn't stop me completely...
I loved the fun boxes and wood! I want to pretend that I can make this...might be fun to try : )

It's like a mini forest

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these frames! The photography was pretty amazing too

Fun metal Art...super colorful

Isn't this wood amazing!

I'm loving this. Don't know that I would put it in my house, but it's still super creative and cool!

So, none of this is painted. It's all just different shades of wood cut out and put together...pretty cool.

There was so much more that I totally wanted to capture, but I'll just have to settle on the memory. Of course since we saw all the fabulous art, we decided to be silly and have a photo shoot...

Aren't we cute it our bright fun springy colors!! Totally unplanned too : )

Crystal...

Pucker-up!

FUN!

Cute and Thoughtful
As we were walking back the the car we saw this cute dating couple sit down in the middle of the road to take some pictures and we thought, oh cute! And this was the result...
